We believe that each of us is on a journey with God that is individual and shared, uniting us in faith.
Still-Speaking God: We believe that God is still speaking to us in new ways, revealing God’s direction, hopes, and dreams for all people throughout the world.
Extravagant Love: We believe God created everyone the way they are for a reason and it is our purpose to love, accept, and learn from all of God’s people.
Acts of Service: We believe that God has called us to serve others through small and large acts of kindness.
Learning Through Community: We believe we grow richer by being in community and learning about the personal journeys of others, not to change or dispute their experiences, but to learn from them in ways that connect us together and challenge us to grow.
We are an inclusive community building meaningful connections with God and all people through faith.
Our vision is to be a community, grounded in the radical good news of Jesus teachings, engaging with others to express God’s inclusive and unconditional love for all creation.
United Faith is a welcoming, open-minded Christian community where we believe faith is something we live, not just something we talk about. We ask questions, have real conversations, and explore together what Jesus’ teachings mean for our everyday lives. We care deeply about serving our neighbors, building community, and standing alongside people who are too often pushed to the margins. You don’t have to have everything figured out to belong here—just come as you are and join the conversation.
United Faith Community (UFC) got its’ start in February, 2014. Beginning in September 2014, worship services were held every other week in a member’s home and service projects were done about every 3 months. In August, 2017, UFC began leasing space in a storefront in downtown Buffalo (Pop 16K) and Worship was extended to weekly. In September, 2022, the decision was made to give up our leased space to make better use of our financial resources. We currently hold Worship Services in the conference room of a local cooperative office facility.
